fake or counterfeit KN95 and N95

DISCLAIMER: This article is being constantly updated as I receive new, accurate information about this ongoing problem of counterfeit N95 or fake KN95. Also, we have started two websites where we have vetted authentic 3M and Honeywell respirators.
KN95RespiratorMasksForSale.com: Group Buy deal for respirators from factories in China (GROUPON for PPE).
PPECertification.com: PPE background check and fraud alerts.

PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT saying that all KN95s are poor in quality. This article is about counterfeit N95 and poor quality KN95 made in China. We have purchased and used good quality KN95s from China that has passed the CDC filtration test.

Since March of 2020, I’ve been working with Bstrong and GEM to help authenticate the quality of the KN95 (N95 equivalent from China) respirators. I appreciate everyone’s heart and effort during this crisis by providing us with their export distributors in China. HOWEVER, I am finding that some of the respirators being offered to us are counterfeit N95 respirators. Since many of you do not know about the FDA regulations and why medical providers need high-quality N95 respirators, please let me guide you.
